Behind the Art
Empty gazes, unknown destinations, lonely figures, stripes, cracks, fragments, timelessness, and nostalgia are recurring themes in most of this artist's creations. These elements are brought to life using techniques such as pencil drawing, watercolor, ink on paper, crayon strokes, charcoal, pastel, paint stains, collage with paper scraps, and scribbles.
Together, they establish a compositional coherence that reveals a portrait, fashion illustration, or narrative illustration. Each piece explores the dialogue and tension between the figurative-traditional and abstract-contemporary styles.
