Raised in Utrecht and educated in graphic design in The Hague, Suzanne Lustig finds her creative roots firmly in the Netherlands. However, the allure of New Zealand, where she currently resides most of the year, provides a contrasting backdrop of Pacific island tranquility and inspiring landscapes.

Annually, Suzanne recharges in Europe's vibrant summers, balancing her creativity between the serene nature of Aotearoa and the rich cultural heritage of Europe. Her work, primarily in oil pastels and Indian ink, reflects a synthesis of these worlds, drawing on European art movements like COBRA for their spontaneity and depth, resulting in textured, dynamic visual expressions.
