Michelle Macnamara’s art is dynamic, bold and varied. With a great love of drawing, painting and illustration, her work reflects elements of self-portraiture within a range of broader themes, from complexity to mundanity. 

Whether a simple nude or a detailed painting, Michelle’s art is a honed practice of being totally present, each piece invites us to peer into that world and is uniquely connected to a moment in time. A perfectly, imperfect reflection of life.    Originally from Melbourne, selling her work independently since 2000. Michelle works from her Byron Bay studio.
