Colombian-born artist Stefhany comes to painting with the storytelling instinct of a seasoned illustrator, shaping her practice around narrative scenes that feel both intimate and quietly strange. Drawn to the small dramas of everyday life, she frames her figures within imagined worlds, dreamlike, character-driven, and softly unsettling.
Working primarily in acrylic, Stefhany builds her compositions through carefully balanced colour and form, allowing mood to emerge from restraint rather than spectacle. Her approach blends precision with atmosphere: deliberate, illustrative line meets washes of muted tone, creating images that feel at once grounded in observation and tilted toward the surreal.
