Behind the Art

Originally from The Netherlands and now located in Calgary, Canada, I am very passionate about art and design, and have a special love of abstract, minimalist, contemporary and mid-century modern art.Working with an array of methods and mediums, I combine digital concepts, photography, mixed media, acrylics and watercolour, exploring various surfaces and textures to create unique yet diverse art pieces embracing many subjects and styles.I have always enjoyed bringing creative ideas to life and for many years worked professionally in graphics and photography.

Over time, my interests began to explore and embrace different concepts; my art has been evolving ever since.
